Ingredients:

Erand-karkati (Carica papaya)

in CARIPA Tablet act as:

• Anti‐dengue virus (vishanu‐hara / vishama‐jvara‐hara) ‐ blocks viral assembly mechanism of DENV2

virus

• Promotes the production of platelets in patients with low platelet counts (thrombo‐cytopenia) due to

dengue fever or other causes (rakta‐pitta‐hara)

• Promotes the production of RBCs (raktdhatu‐vardhak)

• Promotes the production of WBCs (ojasya)

Dosage:

Dengue fever:

• Adults: 2 tabs bd/tid for 5‐10 days.

• Children (6‐9 yrs): 1⁄4‐ 1⁄2 of adult dose, in crushed form with honey, juice, milk.

Other diseases:

• Adults: 2 tabs bd/tid. Taper off on improvement.

• Children (6‐9 yrs): 1⁄4‐ 1⁄2 of adult dose, in crushed form with honey, juice, milk.

• To be taken just after meals.

Precautions:Avoid in pregnancy.
