The conventional therapy with NSAIDs generally does not prevent degradation of collagen and the ground substance matrix. NSAIDs may cause many side effects, e.g. upper & lower G.I. complications like ulcers, haemorrhage, hepato-toxicity and habit formation. Some of these drugs can cause bronchospasm and precipitate bronchial asthma. Arthrodol on the other hand tackles the main problem of preventing excessive production of collagenase and has an immuno-modulatory action apart from anti-inflammatory and analgesic actions.

Action

• Controls excessive collagenase production thus restores collagen to the cartilage and synovium.
